A small studio, on purpose
One designer, a handful of projects at a time, and no account manager between you and the drawings.
Fayngold Atelier was set up to do the whole of a project — the thinking, the drawing and the images — rather than hand each part to somebody else.
Most interior practices draw a scheme and send it out to a visualiser, who has never stood in the room. The render comes back beautiful and slightly wrong, and the difference is only discovered on site.
Here it is the same person, so the model is the design. Move a wall in the drawing and the render moves with it the same afternoon. That is why two rounds of changes fit inside a stage instead of costing a fee.
Work is in Czech and English, in Prague and anywhere a floor plan and a good survey can reach.
How the studio works
Nothing is presented that cannot be built
Every piece in a render is a product with a supplier and a price, or a drawing a joiner can quote from. No unbuyable furniture.
The budget is a design constraint, not a surprise
It is set at the concept stage and the material choices are made inside it, which is duller and considerably cheaper than the alternative.
You see the ugly version too
Rejected layouts are shown alongside the chosen one. Knowing what was tried is how you trust what was kept.

The specifics matter only because they decide what can be handed to a contractor.
